How do I apply? Applications will be considered from our online application form, the link is visible at the top of the main HealthWorks page, www.jvs-socal.org/hw.
What is the training schedule? Classes are held Monday through Friday, typically from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No evening or weekend classes are available.
How much does it cost? This is a FREE program. There is no cost to participants. However, all participants must be able to commit to attending the program. Missed classes could result in termination from the program.
Is the job placement guaranteed? We guarantee that you will interview with our employer partners for open positions. We will continue to work with you until placement is found.
Is it paid training? This is a free program, you are not paid for attending.
How often is this course offered? We offer 4-6 classes a year.
Where are the classes held? Classes are held in a centralized location in Los Angeles County and job placement is near your home.
Do you require healthcare experience? No. We do prefer a consistent work history and a strong interest in a healthcare career.
What if I have a criminal background? A criminal background check will be administered on each applicant.
