An enthusiastic group of supporters filled the Skirball Cultural Center in support of JVS programs for women.

The second annual JVS Woman to Woman conference featured inspirational guest speakers Hon. Nury Martinez, the L.A. For a second year, a panel of eminent women physicians from Cedars Sinai Medical Center discussed their careers and experiences. The panel was moderated by Sarah J. The conference was produced by the JVS Women’s Leadership Network (WLN), a donor support group for all of JVS’ programs serving women in crisis or transition. The WLN focuses on WoMentoring, an innovative career mentoring program that matches women in career transition with professional women in established careers. Founded in 1998, the program supports women with a clear career direction as they work to advance their professional goals and personal development. Successful mentees are encouraged to return to the program as mentors, and the program is developing a component to serve women veterans. Thanks to donor support, the program is free of charge to all participants.

"Part of my life's journey is committed to empowering women, so this is a cause that I had to support, especially sitting in that room filled with such amazing women!" said conference attendee Amanda Daniels, aheart coach, advocate and television host.
