The West Los Angeles WorkSource Center celebrated its grand re-opening today. Located at 13160 Mindanao Way in the Marina del Rey section of Los Angeles, this center is operated by Jewish Vocational Services (JVS), a non profit, founded in 1931 with a long history in workforce development.
JVS has a highly effective approach to sector-based job training with award-winning programs in both the financial services and health care industries and it is also successful with its services to veterans.
The City of Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department administers 17 WorkSource Centers throughout Los Angeles with funds from the Department of Labor directed by the Workforce Investment Board
