The Veterans America’s Job Center of California is committed to assisting Veterans to re-enter the civilian workforce and to achieve a competitive edge in the labor market. This is done through a combination of education, training, career counseling, and supportive services. Our Veterans receive premier, priority of service and we strive to provide specialized, attentive services to our Veterans via a dedicated AJCC site that is staffed with Veterans who are distinctly qualified to respond to and address the unique needs of those who have served our country.

America’s Job Center / WorkSource Center

  • Pre-employment assistance including career coaching
  • Multiple workshops including, resume, interview skills, job search and LinkedIn
  • Free training opportunities for high growth industries including IT, construction and healthcare
  • Job placement assistance
  • Candidate recruitment at no cost to employers

EDD (Employment Development Department)

  • EDD staff are available to help employers find qualified workers and job seekers find good jobs
  • Provide assistance in assessing skills, finding job opportunities and training, prepping a resume and much more
  • EDD reps can provide resources for unemployment insurance and disability insurance assistance if needed

LAUSD Division of Adult and Career Education

  • Earn a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Get career training in one of our Career Technical Education (CTE) programs
  • Learn English (Free ESL classes)
