For the last five decades this unique program has provided scholarships to Jewish students in need, who are attending colleges, universities, and vocational schools across the United States and in Israel. It is a fantastic legacy of service to our diverse community. As the JVS Scholarship Program celebrates this major milestone, we want you to hear directly from those this program has served.
With Hanukkah right around the corner, it is an opportunity to reflect on the miraculous endurance of this program. In 1972, when 44 students received $25,000 to advance their educational and career goals, we lit a light together that still burns brightly today. Our 50th Anniversary show brings together multi-generational supporters and recipients and truly illuminates the impact of the JVS Scholarship Program.
