Santa Monica Community Youth Program

Operating within the City of Santa Monica and targeted area high schools, this program provides career planning services, job search assistance and work experience to Opportunity Youth. SMCYP assists youth to reach educational goals through internships and intensive coaching and case management and overcoming barriers to employment.

Program Benefits

If you are a low-income Santa Monica youth facing challenges getting back to school, obtaining a High School diploma or GED, enrolling in college, on probation, or are unemployed, we can help. Santa Monica Community Youth Program provides career-planning services, job search assistance, paid work experience and employment opportunities to youth ages 16 to 24.

Educational Support:

  • GED and High School completion options

    Eligibility

    The program is open to opportunity youth, ages 16-24 attending Santa Monica High School, Olympic High School or residents of the City of Santa Monica.
