America’s Job Center of California (Veterans AJCC) at Bob Hope Patriotic Hall

The Veterans America’s Job Center of California is committed to assisting Veterans to re-enter the civilian workforce and to achieve a competitive edge in the labor market. This is done through a combination of education, training, career counseling, and supportive services. Our Veterans receive premier, priority of service and we strive to provide specialized, attentive services to our Veterans via a dedicated AJCC site that is staffed with Veterans who are distinctly qualified to respond to and address the unique needs of those who have served our country.

Veterans Peer Access Network

In partnership with the L.A. County Department of Mental Health, the Veteran Peer Access Network (VPAN), connects Veterans, regardless of discharge status, and their family members to community resources.

Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP)

HVRP provides employment and training services to assist homeless veterans find meaningful employment and to help address the complex problems facing homeless veterans. The program is employment-focused and homeless veterans get customized employment and training services to assist them in successfully transitioning into the labor force.

Supportive Services for Veterans Families (SSVF)

The SSVF program assists Veteran Families who are homeless or are at significant risk of homelessness end their housing crisis and stabilize in permanent housing through homelessness prevention services and re-housing assistance .

Los Angeles Veterans Technology Training Academy

Los Angeles Veterans Technology Training Academy (LAVTTA) is a FREE full-time, 16-week, training program that includes a solid technical foundation and uses practical, hands-on exercises, virtual labs, and includes access to earn certifications in Microsoft Azure.

Veterans Peer Access Network

The first ever community-driven support network serving Veterans and their families in the U.S., the Veteran Peer Access Network (VPAN), connects Veterans, regardless of discharge status, and their family members to community resources.

As grantee under the U.S. Department of Labor’s Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program, services are 100 percent funded through an award totaling $498,000. As a grantee under the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Supportive Services for Veteran Families, our program is 100 percent funded through an award totaling $3,675,000.
